Arrive in Palermo and transfer by coach to your hotel.

Excursion to Monreale, recently included in the UNESCO sites, and its Cathedral: famous for its beautiful Norman architecture.
A little shopping to taste the local gastronomy (almonds, olive oil and citrus fruits) and souvenirs.
Back to Palermo and continue with a walking tour of the city.
Wander the streets of the Old Town, hearing tales of Palermo’s 3,000-year history and discovering attractions like Palermo Cathedral. Walk inside the impressive-looking place of worship and marvel at its arches, cupolas and mosaics – with an incredible mix of influences coming from several dominations on the island.

Early breakfast and departure to Erice, a medieval village stacked into the side of Monte San Giuliano with its magical and legendary castle . The village hasn’t changed since the 6th century its maze of narrow streets is perfect for a cool and pleasant morning stroll.
Continue to visit the Saline, an extraordinary lagoon, here, history, nature, archaeology find a perfect synthesis and allow the visitor to try different and fascinating experiences.
Boat trip to the nearby islands. The tour of the nature reserve of “Stagnone di Marsala” is a unique archaeological and naturalistic experience, on board of these special boats, designed to be able to sail in the lagoon depths even at low tide. You will be able to admire the islands of the lagoon from close up, remaining comfortably seated in the boat. You will pass by the islands of Mozia, Isola Lunga, Isola di Schola, and the ancient Via PunicaSommersa. Afterwards enjoy your lunch in a restaurant by the lagoon.
Return to your coach and travel to Agrigento, your final destination of the day.
Visit Ancient Greek monuments and ruins at the Valley of Temples (entrance included) – UNESCO World Heritage site – and learn about archaeological relics like the ClassicalTemple of Concord the Temple of Hercules; the Temple of Jupiter, one of the largest Doric-style buildings. Check in to your hotel in the evening.
Dinner and overnight in Agrigento.

Breakfast at the hotel and trip to Piazza Armerina, historic town in the heart of Sicily. Entrance to Villa Romana del Casale to admire the largest, richest and most complex Roman mosaics in the world. Since 1997 UNESCO World Heritage Site in Italy.3,500 square meters of mythological scenes and representations of daily life.
Departure for Ragusa and visit of the charming old town “Ibla”, with baroque palaces and beautiful churches; Ragusa is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Visit the ancient gate of St. George, the Iblei Gardens and then on foot to Piazza Pola where we will visit the church of St. Joseph.
During the tour there will be tasting typical Arancine and Cannoli accompanied by Marsala liqueur wine.
Arrive in hotel, dinner and overnight in Ragusa.

Breakfast at the hotel and trip to Noto (Unesco Heritage), a colorful fishing town famous for its baroque architecture.
Visit Cathedral of San Nicolò, recently restored after an earthquake, and then walk in the city centre.
Continuation along the coast to Syracuse, and visit to the “Neapolis Archaeological Park Syracuse’s (Unesco Heritage) famous archaeological area, which houses Greek and Roman ruins from all over Sicily.
Here you will find the Greek Theatre, the Roman Amphitheatre and the Ear of Dionysius – an artificial limestone cave. After the visit, crossing one of the city’s bridges you reach the island of Ortigia – the oldest part of Syracuse.
Enjoy a visit to the “Opera deiPupi” workshop, where the Puppets performing in the theatre come to life.
It is a type of wooden puppet theater, whose protagonists are Charlemagne and his paladins and their epic deeds, then over time also used as a popular expression towards historical and social panoramas.
The opera is typical of the Sicilian tradition from the early 1800s and around the 50s of the twentieth century this theatrical art fell into disuse on the island. Few Sicilian families still hand down the magical art of oral cue and puppet theater. In 2008 UNESCO registered the Opera deiPupi among the oral and intangible heritages of humanity, after having originally proclaimed it in 2001. It was the first Italian heritage to be included in this list.
In the late afternoon arrive in Taormina, check in to your hotel and enjoy dinner.

Breakfast at your hotel and then head off to Mount Etna, the largest active volcano in Europe and the highest mountain in Italy and Unesco Heritage.
Guide Full day Etna and Taormina – Cable car + jeep and Excursion on volcano till mts 2500. Learn about volcanic activity and marvel at the old lava fields and black magma rock that comprises Etna’s landscape.
After, return to Taormina, the beautiful and romantic town located on Mount Tauro.
On the way back to Taormina we will stop at the Sicilian Cart Museum collection of the Gullotti family that for over 60 years and 3 generations makes available beyond the works, their experience and knowledge of all the techniques, anecdotes, uses and customs, concerning the art and life of the Sicilian cart with all the its facets.
